Fatal car accident occurs in St. Louis

Wrong-way driving is a very harmful and dangerous type of conduct. Such conduct can sometimes result in auto accidents occurring. Car accidents can sometimes have deadly results. Thus, one hopes that all motor vehicle drivers take all reasonable steps to avoid wrong-way driving when out on the roads. This includes being attentive and not engaging in negligent/reckless behavior (such as intoxicated driving, drowsy driving or distracted driving) when behind the wheel.

Recently, a fatal wrong-way auto accident happened in St. Louis.

The crash occurred last Friday. That morning, a 26-year-old man from Glen Carbon, Illinois was driving a car east along I-64. According to authorities, the man’s car was then struck by a vehicle that was traveling in the wrong direction. The wrong-way vehicle was being driven by a woman.

It is not yet known what specific factors were behind the woman traveling the wrong way on the interstate. Tests are being conducted by authorities to see if drugs or alcohol played any role in the accident. One wonders what results these tests will yield.

According to the article on KMOV’s website which reported this story, the 26-year-old man was fatally injured in this auto crash.

As this accident illustrates, motor vehicle collisions can sometimes result in a death.

If a person has suffered the loss of a loved one in an auto accident, he or she may wish to consider meeting with an experienced personal injury attorney to discuss the crash and what options are available for seeking relief.
